At 1.59am today it was 1.59am. Two minutes later, it was 3.01am! Somehow, we have lost a whole hour, which means today will only have 23 of them instead of the usual twenty four! Ian says not to worry though: we'll get the missing hour back in October when the last Sunday of that month will consist of twenty five hours!

Ian forgot to go to work today, saying something about annual leave. But where is he going, why hasn't he left yet, and why does he repeat this puzzle every year?
