BST

British Summer Time started today so Ian and Julie have been putting all their clocks forward by one hour. As I faced the back of my favourite easy chair, Ian said, "Spring forward, Fall back." If I'd sprung forward, i'd have bounced back! So I didn't: what's the point - they'll only put the clocks back in October to the time they were yesterday...

New Trick

Julie thought she was teaching me how to lift my front paw (well one of them - I've got two!) up to my nose this evening. I decided to change things round by training Julie to give me a tasty treat when I picked up my lead. Ian thought I was making up my own tricks now but no...it was nearly time to leave for dog school (silly!).

Toy Tub again

I managed to retrieve a toy today without tipping the entire tub over. When I'd finished playing with it, I left it in the middle of the room. Ian said all they needed to do now was to teach Gemma and me how to put toys back into the tub. Why, thought I, we have staff to do that for us!

The 'Off' Button

When something comes on television Ian and Julie don't like, they groan and watch it anyway. When something comes on television that I don't like, I jump up at the screen and have just worked out how to switch it off. Another problem solved!

Toy Tub

In an effort to keep the place tidy, Ian and Julie have introduced a small tub into which all our toys go at the end of the day. Gemma and I find it difficult to retrieve individual toys when we want them, but I've now worked out how to retrieve all of them at once...by tipping the tub over! Problem solved!
